Drill Head and Bits Configuration

North Star Drill Head and Bits are reviewed as part of the complete HDD assembly. Send the required head, bit, housing and connection details for configuration review. The housing range table below is a reference for related housings, not a dimensional specification for every drill head or bit.

3 Essential Checks for Better Fit

1. Identify the components required or being replaced. Include an existing part reference, drawing or clear photograph where available.
2. Confirm the mating housing, connection and bolt arrangement, including the dimensions that must match the existing tooling.
3. Describe the intended application, required quantity and installation constraints, then review the quoted configuration before ordering.

Check the complete selected housing row when using the reference table. End and Side entries describe different loading arrangements. The connection and bolt fields are listed as To Order and require confirmation for the actual assembly. Do not infer bit diameter, head dimensions or a bolt pattern from a housing outside diameter alone.

If a required dimension is not provided, request the applicable drawing. Identify any estimated measurement clearly so it can be reviewed before the configuration is finalised. Keep the confirmed part reference and documentation for later replacement enquiries.
