LABOUR & HUMAN RIGHTS
People, Rights & Workplace Wellbeing
North Star is strengthening the systems that support employee rights, capability, safety and wellbeing across the organisation.
OUR APPROACH
A responsible workplace starts with clear standards.
North Star’s approach combines lawful employment, employee development and workplace safety. In 2025, the company issued its Human Resources Policy to formalize responsibilities for recruitment, onboarding, training, competence management and employee records.
Fair & Lawful Employment
Employment is managed in accordance with applicable laws, with identity verification during onboarding and an explicit prohibition on child labour and employment of people under 18.
Learning & Development
Role-based training supports new hires, transferred staff, technical personnel, special-process workers and internal auditors.
Safety & Wellbeing
North Star supports safe and orderly working conditions through training, supervision, management systems, first-aid capability and occupational health measures.
Measure people-related performance. Then improve.
